You will study current trends in bag design, identify a customer base, and prepare mood boards while referencing iconic bags. This unique course will teach you how to create seasonal collections for your market. Funding Period: 1st March 2021 to end Feb 2024

Objectives
Identify the different stages in trend and market research for bag design.
Analyse consumer needs and directional trends, as well as your target market’s lifestyle and mindset changes.
Develop a bag collection based on forecasted trends and researched target markets.
Create design and mood boards catering to the chosen target market.
Develop technical packages for your bag collection.

Certificate Issuance
Upon successful completion of the course, student will be awarded TaF.tc's Certificate of Completion in Design Bags Collection.
To enrol, you must fulfil the following requirements

Aged 16 years and above
and
2
GCE 'O' Level with minimum grade C6 for 3 subjects, including English and Mathematics OR WSQ Advanced Certificate OR TaFtc's Advance Certificate OR WSQ ES WPLN Level 5 and above
and
3
All students are required to have basic computing skills i.e. turn on the laptop, use the mouse, drag and drop files, use online search engine for research; and be a competent user of Microsoft Office.

All students must also be competent or possess equivalent skills and knowledge for the following competencies: a) Digital Sketching for Bags and Small Goods OR b) Basic Design Sketching for Bags and Small Goods
Graduation
To graduate, you must fulfil the following requirements
1
75% attendance rate of total training hours per module
and
2
Be found competent for written, practical and oral assessments
International Students
To enrol, you must fulfil the following requirements
1
Aged 16 years and above
and
2
IELTS score 5.5 or TOEFL 75
and
3
High School Diploma equivalent to GCE 'O' Level with minimum grade C6 for 3 subjects, including English and Mathematics
and
4
All students are required to have basic computing skills i.e. turn on the laptop, use the mouse, drag and drop files, use online search engine for research; and be a competent user of Microsoft Office.

75% attendance rate of total training hours per module. Student Pass Holders – a minimum of 90% attendance per month will be required

Be found competent for written, practical and oral assessments
We highly discourage you from missing any classes since the entire program is designed to be hands-on intensive. There is also a minimum attendance requirement of 75% of training hours for Singaporean and PRs, and 90% of training hours for international students. If you do not meet the 75% attendance requirement, you will not be eligible to enjoy subsidies nor to sit for the assessment. Make sure you block off your time during your training with us or find an intake option that will ensure you do not miss any classes. You will only wish that you had more time in the class!
