Terms and Conditions (Important)

1. Refund Policy

We understand that sometimes your plans may change, so if you had previously signed up for a qualifications programme with us, and you have decided to withdraw from the programme, then the following conditions would apply.


Please note that this refund policy is only applicable for the Advanced Diploma, Diploma, and Advanced Certificate programmes if you have paid for your nett fees PRIOR to the commencement of the programme. Once the programme has commenced, you will not be entitled to any refund of the course fees.

[90%] more than [14] days before the Course Commencement Date
[50%] [14 - 8] days before the Course Commencement Date
[0%] Less than [8] days before the Course Commencement Date

Note: The above policy does not apply to Professional short courses.


If you have enrolled for a Professional Short Course with us, and you wish to change your registered course intake dates, please note that you will need to pay a fee of SGD $53.50 (incl. GST) as part of a Change of Intake Fee.


This fee will only be valid if your request is made 14 days before the Course Commencement Date. If you wish to withdraw from the course beyond this period, then you will forfeit the full payable nett fee.  


Please note that for both qualifications and short courses, all application fees paid is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

2. Attendance Requirements

A minimum attendance of 75% of training hours per module is required to qualify for final assessment. Training hours includes E-learning, classroom lectures or activities, excluding assessment hours. You will be deemed as absent should you be on sick/medical leave, personal leave, overseas assignment, or any other reason which prevents you from attending the module.

Important note for Full-Time International Student Pass holders:

It is mandatory for you to achieve at least 90% attendance for all your classes on a monthly basis. If you do not meet this requirement, your student pass may be cancelled and you would be required to return to your home country. In the case of absenteeism as a result of sick/medical leave, a medical leave certificate will need to be presented to the school. However, if you are absent for other reason, a written explanation and/or supporting documents (if any) will need to be provided to the school accordingly.


3. Assessment

You will need to attend assessment as per course schedule provided. If you are unable to attend and wish to re-schedule, please inform the school at least 2 weeks before the course start date. You are required to log in to your account via the Student Portal and make a Student Request by completing the online form. There will a re-schedule of assessment fee of $128.40 (inclusive of GST) chargeable for each request.

However, if you are deemed Not Yet Competent (NYC) during the assessment there are potentially 2 courses of action to be taken, i.e:


  1. Re-assessment:


Based on Assessor’s recommendation, you may request for a re-assessment. You are required to log in to your account via the Student Portal and make a Student Request by completing the online form within 1 week of the last assessment date. A reassignment fee of $128.40 (inclusive of GST) is chargeable. The re-assessment must be completed within a month from the last assessment.


  1. Appeal Process:


If you disagree with the result of your assessment, you may request an appeal for the review of your assessment outcome. You are required to log in to your account via the Student Portal and make a Student Request by completing the online form within 1 week of the last assessment date. An appeal fee of $32.10 (inclusive of GST) is chargeable for processing. You will be notified on the appeal outcome within a week of submission and decision will be deemed as final.

4. Graduation Requirements

You’ll be required to adhere to the following:-

  • To meet 75% attendance requirements to sit for assessment for each course.

  • 100% competency for each course

Be awarded a WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) or WSQ Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Fashion Technology or TaF.tc’s Diploma certification

5. Certificate Issuance/Collection

Upon successful completion of the course, and if you have been assessed to be "Competent", you will be awarded a WSQ or TaF.tc’s e-Certificate.  You can download your electronic WSQ Certificate (e-Certificates) directly from SkillsConnect. SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) will notify you via SMS/email once your WSQ e-Certificate is ready for download. For more information on how to download your e-Certs, click here.


6. Course Notes and Training Materials

In line with our efforts to be environmentally sustainable, all our course and training materials will be given to you in electronic form. Our friendly programme advisors will guide you through the steps of how to access the e-course notes or e-books.

All course and training materials provided are protected by copyright laws, and cannot be reproduced, republished, distributed, transmitted, displayed, broadcasted or otherwise exploited in any manner, without written permission from TaF.tc. All course and training materials are solely for personal and non-commercial use.

7. Disclaimer Clause

TaF.tc reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the course schedule, change of trainer or change of course fee without prior notice. However, TaF.tc will use our utmost effort to inform respective students of any changes within 5 working days before the class commencement date. The terms and conditions set may be modified or amended without prior notice.

8. Liability

We would like to inform all our students that once you have commenced with the course, we strongly encourage you to meet the graduation requirements stated above, as failure to do so may result in you being held personally liable for the reimbursement of the Skillsfuture Singapore SSG grants to TaF.tc.
