Overview
This course aims to give participants a holistic understanding of how patterns and virtual garment samples can be created using Virtual Fit software. Students will be able to evaluate fit and style virtually and create pattern alteration, accessories and trims placement across all garment sizes thus eliminating the need for full-size set samples. Participants will learn to develop virtual library of pattern pieces, fabrics, accessories, trims and prints for their future reference. This course is highly recommended for Virtual Fit users to enhance their skill set. Funding Period: 1st March 2021 to end Feb 2024

Objectives
  • Create Virtual mannequins (Avatar and Dress form)
  • Create Virtual fabric
  • Create Virtual embellishment and accessories (zipper, artworks, draw cord, etc)
  • Create virtual paper patterns based on given specifications
  • Create Virtual samples based on the virtual paper pattern and attach virtual embellishment and accessories onto virtual garment
  • Analyse virtual samples’ fitting and style
  • Make necessary changes to pattern based on fitting evaluation

We highly discourage you from missing any classes since the entire program is designed to be hands-on intensive. There is also a minimum attendance requirement of 75% of training hours for Singaporean and PRs, and 90% of training hours for international students. If you do not meet the 75% attendance requirement, you will not be eligible to enjoy subsidies nor to sit for the assessment. Make sure you block off your time during your training with us or find an intake option that will ensure you do not miss any classes. You will only wish that you had more time in the class!
