Objectives
  • Recognise and select the types of materials, tools, ornaments, and accessories
  • Tracing and cutting techniques using cardboard and materials
  • Create and label interior and exterior patterns
  • Transfer cardboard patterns into selected materials for interior and exterior requirements
  • Apply skiving, sewing, gluing and pasting skills
  • Assemble tote bag
  • Evaluate the finished product
Certificate Issuance

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be awarded a TaF.tc Certificate in Develop Patterns and Sew Tote Bags and Variations.

Admissions

To enrol, you must fulfil the following requirements

1

Aged 16 years and above

 and 2

GCE 'O' Level with minimum grade C6 for 3 subjects, including English and Mathematics OR WSQ Advanced Certificate OR WSQ ES WPLN Level 5 and above

 and 3

ALL Students are reqauired to have basic digital literacy, knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office

Graduation

To graduate, you must fulfil the following requirements

1

75% attendance rate of total training hours per module

 and 2

Be found competent during written, practical and oral assessments

International Students

To enrol, you must fulfil the following requirements

1

Aged 16 years and above

 and 2

IELTS score 5.5 or TOEFL 600

 and 3

High School Diploma equivalent to GCE 'O' Level with minimum grade C6 for 3 subjects, including English and Mathematics

 and 4

ALL Students are required to have basic digital literacy, knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office

Graduation

To enrol, you must fulfil the following requirements

1

75% attendance rate of total training hours per module. Student Pass Holders – a minimum of 90% attendance per month will be required

Yes! You can use any SkillsFuture Credits you have to pay for course fees.

We do not offer any make-up or replacement classes.

We highly discourage you from missing any classes since the entire program is designed to be hands-on intensive. There is also a minimum attendance requirement of 75% of training hours for Singaporean and PRs, and 90% of training hours for international students. If you do not meet the 75% attendance requirement, you will not be eligible to enjoy subsidies nor to sit for the assessment. Make sure you block off your time during your training with us or find an intake option that will ensure you do not miss any classes. You will only wish that you had more time in the class!
