Textile and Fashion Industry Training Centre (TaF.tc) is the training arm of the Textile & Fashion Federation (Taff). It is also the first Continuing Education and Training Centre (CET) for the textile and fashion industry in Singapore, with the vision of becoming a global fashion school without boundaries.

The Job:

 

As an Accountant, you must have a passion to delight and deliver exceptional service to our stakeholders by supporting all accounting operations at TaF.tc

 

You are a key member of our team and your responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

  • Full set of accounts
  • GST reporting, weekly review of accounts receivables status of customers and timely payment of accounts payable.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting (monthly and year end closing) with detailed and comprehensive schedules every month.
  • Assist with Banking administration
  • Prepare financial statement forecast
  • Perform reconciliation of suppliers, outstanding payments, resolve billing disputes, discrepancies and queries.
  • Manage external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, government agencies, etc to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Identify improvement areas and recommend new procedures and continually identify process improvements.
  • Any ad hoc projects as necessary.
  • Utilize TaF.tc’s student management system to assist with your accounting reporting
  • Work with stakeholders such as our tech and senior management team to improve processes in system or accounting process

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3-4 years of working experience
  • Possess relevant CA qualifications in Accounting
  • Experience in Cloud Accounting Platforms
  • Proficient in ERP system
  • Extremely positive attitude, willingness to learn and dare to challenge the status quo
  • Detail-Oriented and meticulous
  • Multi-tasker, independent and able to work under tight deadlines
  • Able to start immediately or within short notice

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support and consultation to the business regarding people related programs, policies, and other HR-related items.
  2. Assist Leadership team with planning and roll-out of company oriented programs and initiatives. Digitalize recruitment, onboarding, HR enquiries, Staff HR handbook and Part Time Trainers handbook.  Digitalize processes or make it disappear.
  3. Connect Dreamteam members to the right subject matter expert when necessary
  4. Identify opportunities to improve company policies and SOPs by connecting the dots across multiple departments and experiences. 
  5. Identify and propose solutions to rectify inconsistent HR policies and gaps. 
  6. Establish strong relationship with universities and polytechnics for internships and talent pipeline
  7. Apply and manage grants related to human capital and development to optimize resources
  8. Organize company retreats, townhall meetings and activities for team building, CSR and strategic planning
  9. Undertake any ad-hoc projects or tasks assigned by Chief Executive

 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • No work experience required. .
  • Keen to work on cross-functional collaboration.

  • Must be sociable.

Training Logistic Coordinator

  1. Support the trainers in procurement and preparation of learning materials, equipment and tools required for the classroom or workshops
  2. Ensure that learning packages are delivered to students on time
  3. Maintain overall office aesthetics, cleanliness and efficiency
  4. Manage and monitor contractors for office and equipment maintenance
  5. Propose and manage annual budget for office and equipment maintenance and office supplies

Business Development Executive

TaF.tc is forming a new business development team to run our e-commerce platforms.This team will be responsible for maintaining the websites, operations and marketing. You will gain the opportunity and experience from conducting and running your own digital ads campaigns to working with potential entrepreneurs who would like to have their products and business marketed on our e-commerce platforms. Think about using this role as being intrapreneurs.

 

Areas you will be responsible for:

Business Development:

  • Maintain TaF.tc’s two newest e-commerce platforms (website, vendors and operations)
  • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
  • Building business relationships with current and potential clients
  • Collaborating with sales and leadership team to secure and grow accounts
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients for our e-commerce platforms; maintaining a database (hubspot) of prospective client information
  • Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short-and long-term business development plans
  • Monitor vendors in dealing with payments and orders
  • Coordinating with vendors and assisting them when needed

Marketing:

  • Understand the power of marketing data analytics through on-the-job learning in extracting, analysing and data storytelling
  • Unique opportunity to develop, lead, and implement innovative marketing strategies
  • Autonomy to run your own marketing campaigns

    • Technical and software skills related to marketing and other related fields.
    • Knowledge of wordpress/CMS is a bonus

Key Competencies:

  • The ability to use any CRM or any database software is a bonus (Training will be provided)
  • Proficient in MS Office applications

Sales Development Executive

TaF.tc is seeking an ambitious and high-energy sales development rep to support the company’s sales & marketing team. You will work directly with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to execute on a new specialise sales division made out of “Sales Development Reps”. The new position will help create identify and track sales new or existing corporate leads, generate sales reporting, evaluate success, trends and failures of sales campaigns, assist with sales forecasting, strategies and tactics thus gaining valuable sales experience. This candidate should be well organized and be prepared to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment. The person chosen for this position will finish their TaF.tc having gained a broad experience in various aspects of sales and marketing. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Learn the science behind a sales process and methodology through the HubSpot CRM. 
  2. Understand that sales is about building a relationship and not hard-selling.
  3. Learn how to develop customer personas that are a good fit for our products
  4. Develop a strategy and tools for an outbound sales outreach.
  5. Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  6. Qualify and contact outbound leads through E-mail, Linkedin reach-out and re-igniting cold-lead 
  7. Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Quota-Carrying Sales Reps.

Job Description


- Work closely with Sales, Operations, Tech, and accounts team to ensure overall positive customer experience
- Innovate and implement new ways to ensure customer satisfaction as well as measure customer journey through technology
- Answer customer enquiries on courses, course content, and types of funding (Inbound sales)
- Filter sales enquires to relevant programme advisors to secure leads
- Develop, test, and implement ways to improve digitalisation of student onboarding
- Assist and arrange for student requests (change of intakes, reassessments, withdrawals)

- Develop automation solutions to eliminate redundant or time-consuming processes

- Service recovery and dealing with customer complaints
- Delight customer from point of sale conversion to student competency/the end of qualification/module and beyond
