Objectives
Prepare the last for pattern making through masking for variations of fancy men’s and ladies’ shoe types.
Mark critical points and sketch out the design on the last according to design specifications for fancy men’s and ladies’ shoes.
Remove the masking from the last and flatten it on the pattern drafting paper for fancy men’s and ladies’ shoes.
Identify the difference of the inside part of the last for variations of fancy as per design specifications.
Create sectional frames to build designs with specific propositions for fancy men’s and ladies’ shoes.

Type of fancy shoes and lasts.
Shoe size measurements and conversions.
Footwear constructions.
Techniques in masking and marking on the last.
Techniques in taping the last, removing the mask, and flattening on the paper.

Certificate Issuance
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be awarded a TaF.tc Certificate in Intermediate Footwear Pattern Making.
To enrol, you must fulfil the following requirements

Aged 16 years and above
and
2
Possess at least 3 GCE ‘O’ Level credits with a minimum of C6 including English and Mathematics OR ES WSQ Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 and above OR WSQ Advanced Certificate in Fashion Technology OR TaFtc's Advanced Certificate
and

All students are required to have basic computing skills - i.e. able to turn on the laptop, use the mouse, drag and drop files, use online search engines for research; and be a competent user of Microsoft Office.

All students must also be competent or possess equivalent skills and knowledge for the following competencies: Basic Footwear Pattern Making
Graduation
To graduate, you must fulfil the following requirements

75% attendance rate of total training hours per module
and
2
Be found competent for written, practical and oral assessments
International Students
To enrol, you must fulfil the following requirements
1
Aged 16 years and above
and
2
High School Diploma equivalent to GCE ‘O’ Level with 3 credits including English and Mathematics OR Qualifications from professional institutes may be considered on a case-by-case basic OR Pass TaF.tc Entrance Test
and

English Language Requirement – Possess a minimum credit in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or its equivalent OR IELTS score 5.5 or TOEFL score 46
and

Graduation

75% attendance rate of total training hours per module. Student Pass Holders – a minimum of 90% attendance per month will be required

Be found competent for written, practical and oral assessments
We highly discourage you from missing any classes since the entire program is designed to be hands-on intensive. There is also a minimum attendance requirement of 75% of training hours for Singaporean and PRs, and 90% of training hours for international students. If you do not meet the 75% attendance requirement, you will not be eligible to enjoy subsidies nor to sit for the assessment. Make sure you block off your time during your training with us or find an intake option that will ensure you do not miss any classes. You will only wish that you had more time in the class!
