Thomas Tan is a full-time Fashion Design Consultant and Trainer with TaF.tc.
Graduated in 2000 with a Diploma in Apparel Design and Development from Temasek Polytechnic, Thomas brings with him extensive experience in the global apparel manufacturing and retail arena. He started his career working for local retailers, and then a designer with a renowned transnational apparel manufacturer whose customers include retailers such as Bloomingdales, Macy’s, JC Penney, Eddie Bauer, Sears, Wal-mart, May Company, Target, etc. He is well attuned to the global fashion trends as he travels frequently to USA, parts of Europe and Asia.
Thomas is a fashion styling guru and is often approached by fashion retailers to equip their sales associates with this knowledge to better service their customers.
Being emcee for the Asia Fashion Summit 2014, Thomas is well integrated into the global fashion industry with departments stores such as Lotte in Seoul, to Galeries Lafayette in Jakarta and Robinsons in Singapore.
