Chief Executive,

Doreen has accumulated several years of experience and expertise in textiles, and is passionate about training individuals, enterprises and industry players to apply their knowledge and skills in their work. As an International Consultant with International Trade Centre (UNCTAD/WTO) of United Nations, she has completed various industry projects in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Sri Lanka, El Salvador, Guatemala, India, Mauritius, Romania, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Selma Bamadhaj
Founder, Lully Selb

Selma founded Lully Selb, a contemporary modestwear brand that champions individuality and style for the modern Muslim woman. Selma grew her online community of print lovers through social media (mainly Instagram) and was featured on Forbes for her social media marketing expertise. SHe celebrated a huge milestone when her work was featured at the Commonwealth Fashion Exchange, hosted at the Buckingham Palace and graced by HRH Princess Kate Middleton, Anna Wintour, Naomi Campbell, Stella McCartney, and Adwoa Aboah.

Billy Chow
Founder, Velvethoops Customs
Co-Founder, Sneakest

Billy is an entrepreneur and businessman making waves in Singapore’s sneaker scene. As a graduate of’s Footwear Diploma, Billy is the founder of Velvethoop Customs - providing customization services for sneakers and leather products - and is the co-founder of Sneakest - an online marketplace where users have been buying and selling sneakers with fellow sneakerheads since 2017.

Richard Siccardi
Co-Founder, Arise.S

With more than 15 years of experience as a footwear pattern maker and 8 years as a footwear manufacturer, Richard is much sought after globally in techniques of footwear model development, stylistic design, collection development and prototyping. He has worked with many global footwear brands such as Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin, Versace, and Missoni, and now manages his own footwear development consultancy, Arise.S.

Thomas Tan

After years as a Designer at Ghim Li Global Pte Ltd - designing for the likes of Macy’s, JC Penny, Sears, and Bloomingdales - Thomas brings extensive experience in the global apparel manufacturing and retail arena. He specialises in designs & ends forecasting and global market research, and is gifted in his ability to translate runway fashion into ready-to wear pieces.

Jennifer Chan
Senior Trainer,

Jennifer has more than 30 years of industry and teaching experience, imparting her dressmaking and pattern drafting skills in private and government schools since 1983. An experienced pattern drafter, sewer, and product sampler, she has brought her teaching career overseas to Hong Kong, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia.
