I had a great experience while schooling in taftc, the Trainers were kind and helpful. I learnt a lot about sewing from the basic drafting and sewing course and I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who is interested and new to sewing.

Attended two courses with TAFTC. One on pattern drafting and sewing of top & skirt with trainer Gini, another on fabric care with Doreen Tan. Both trainers were experienced and very knowledgeable. Workshops were all the more enjoyable because they share snippets from their industry experience. I really enjoyed both workshops and would totally sign up for more.

All instructors are very experienced in the fashion industry, i have learned basic and intermediary sewing as well as texile product knowledge. Strongly recommend this school if you are are interested and passionate about fashion! They offer a huge range of classes, including advance sewing, draping and even leather shoes making.

I attended the basic skirt and and top drafting sewing class with Alan Tan. The module is very comprehensive and serves as a good introduction to sewing. Alan is a great instructor, he is very patient and he pays attention to detail. His knowledge sharing of the industry is a very valuable part of the course. Overall i am very satisfied with the course and would recommend any Singaporeans/PR to attend the course. The class consisted of 10 people and everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Attended the day course on Textile Product Knowledge and Fabric Care. Trainer Doreen is very knowledgeable in sharing with us. There were hands on activities for us to try like burning test and stain removal test. Also attended the Basic Drafting and Sewing course to sew a top and skirt. Recommended for anyone who wants to learn how to sew.

I took up this course with zero knowledge in sewing and took a Long time to join the class because I thought I won’t be able to make it through but the learning journey was amazing..I’ve learnt a lot during this class and very happy to have sewn an outfit for myself for the very first time. My family was so impress on my outfit. Thanks to the trainer Linda and Brandon for understanding my needs and been patience to make it possible for me. I would definitely continue in this further and recommend my friends to join in too.

A professional fashion facilitator was able to help me understand how to draft my skirt and blouse with basic block and some variation. Interesting and happy to have been assessed as competent with my skirt making . I also get to learn more about how to sew the invisible zipper, bias binding and seams. Beneficial life skills.
