Bag Design Product Development
This module will cover all facets of branding ranging from definition, brand DNA, identity and an opportunity to study the success of exemplary bag brands. We will illustrate and understand the definition of consumer and what shapes their persona. This module will also give students a chance to conduct market research in the bags industry and interpret and analyze the data collected to understand trends and market positioning. Students will delve into the understanding of the role of a fashion buyer/ merchandiser in the bags industry. We will create a merchandising plan for a bags brand and conduct a quantitive and qualitative analysis on how to calculate OTB, with the goal to optimize profit.

Objectives
Identify factors contributing to build brand identity according to industry practices.
Identify target market and consumer demographics.
Create a branding strategy to establish a bag fashion brand.
Formulate a merchandising plan with a focus on the consumer based on organizational policies and procedures.
Evaluate the merchandise plan through qualitative and quantitative analysis according to industry practices.
Revised merchandise plan to verify profit optimization.
Certificate Issuance
Upon successfully completing the course, a student will be awarded the Certificate of Completion Bags Branding and Buying Strategy by TaF.tc.

All students are required to have basic computing skills i.e. turn on the laptop, use the mouse, drag and drop files, use online search engine for research; and be a competent user of Microsoft Office.

You will need a laptop OR computer OR tablet, whichever you prefer, for viewing your E-books
Devices need to have a working camera and a microphone.
We highly discourage you from missing any classes since the entire program is designed to be hands-on intensive. There is also a minimum attendance requirement of 75% of training hours for Singaporean and PRs, and 90% of training hours for international students. If you do not meet the 75% attendance requirement, you will not be eligible to enjoy subsidies nor to sit for the assessment. Make sure you block off your time during your training with us or find an intake option that will ensure you do not miss any classes. You will only wish that you had more time in the class!
