ASSESSMENT APPEAL

1.1 Students must notify the assessor of their intention to appeal and must not sign on the Assessment Summary Record.

1.2 Student to submit an appeal request to the Student Management Department by using the Appeal Form. This is to be done within 7 working days after the release of assessment results.

1.3 Head of Department, Learning Curriculum and Development will contact the student to acknowledge receipt of the Appeal Form within 3 working days.

1.4 Student will be informed on the Appeal decision/outcome within 10 working days from the acknowledgement of
appeal request.

1.5 All decision made by Examination Board is final.


DEFERMENT

Deferment Request

All deferment request must be submitted to SM Department using the Student Request Form, and SM Department will response to Student within 3 working days.

Assessment

1.1          Student will be notified via email once the date, time and venue are confirmed.

1.2          Students to make deferment fees of $50 upon deferment approval

Module

1.1          Student will be notified via email on the deferred intake schedule, time and venue.

1.2          Students to make deferment fees of $50 upon deferment approval

* If the Student fails to attend the scheduled defer assessment/module for whatever reason, student will need to re-submit defer assessment/module request.


 

CERTIFICATE ISSUANCE

Certificate Issuance and Collection
WSQ Certificate

From 3 November 2014 onwards, Electronic Certificates (e-Certs) will be issued to trainees who have attended and attained competency in Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) training modules or have attained full WSQ qualifications. This will replace the current hardcopy certificate issuance process.

TaF.tc Certificate

TaF.tc will email the e-Certificate to Students no later than 2 months from the course completion date.

Certificate Retention Period

Hard copies of certificates must be collected within 9 months after being notified for collection.    After the grace period, depending on storage space availability, certificates not collected may be archived at designated storage offsite. Collection after the grace period, will require advanced notification to TaF.tc Administrative office of at least 5 work days for retrieval. An administration fee of $20 will be imposed.

All certificates not collected will be kept up to a maximum period of 7 years after which they will be destroyed. For participants requesting a reprint after destruction timeframe, a formal request would need to be submitted to TaF.tc.   An administrative fee of $20 will be charged and payments will need to be received prior to processing the request for reprinting/re-issuance of certificates.
