Part 1 Changes in today's marketplace - and more importantly findings from extensive market research - have inspired us to reevaluate, restyle and reconfigure our FASHION + HOME Color System so it works more effectively for you. Envision a color system that would give designers precise color on a digital and international stage without compromise. Pantone, Inc. created the new SMART color swatch card system to remove the limitations from your design process and shorten the lead times of your color development process. Through our partnership with Clariant, a leader in dyestuff production, we have developed the PANTONE SMART Color System that consistently delivers perfect, technically sound hues, faster and easier than ever before. We're proud to unveil this new system that provides maximum utility and relevancy, comprised completely of exciting solutions.
Part 2 Part of being different for next Winter 2008/09 can be summed up with the following quote; ”what makes things beautiful is not what makes them the same as everything else but what sets them apart”. We need to be flexible in design so we can cater to the consumers wish for greater choice. For next year the eclectic color direction will present an opportunity to be bold and artistic to have a point of view and to animate the differences through a distinct use of color.
