This course covers the basic principles of quality and how effective application of quality policies with regards to the textile and fashion industry impacts product quality. There will be practical lessons on statistical sampling, in which participants will do a visual garment inspection, complete an inspection report and interpret a laboratory test report. Participants will get to do a hands on crocking test, and attempt to give an evaluation rating on tested specimens. Students will also engage in active discussions. |

At the end of the training program, the participant will be able to effectively plan daily work, carry out daily work, maintain and improve overall work quality.
Participants will learn about common industry quality management systems, objectives, policies and procedures.
He/she will have a first hand experience to complete and/or interpret quality records such as fabric test report, garment test report, fabric inspection check list, in line QC check list, end of production QC check list and QA audit report.
