Some have an idea that they want to take to market, but just don’t know where to start. This training course has taken out the guesswork for the novice entrepreneur. The step-by-step process covers all of the required steps to set up the business and then keep it operational.

Subject Synopsis/Summary

This 3-Day seminar/workshop will give the participants a step-by-step “How-To” guide for setting up their Business Enterprise (in Singapore) to include: Identifying & registering the best type of business for the product or service, establishing a corporate identity, (the business name, corporate colors and stationary suite), writing a basic business plan, office set up, accounting solutions, to intellectual property registration, email and website planning.

The second half of the course will walk the participants through the process of what is needed to create the first collection from design, merchandising, production and shipping.

The Business Basics (Day1)

What are you selling, product or Service? Registering your business. How to register and what type of business model.

Participants are able to examine what is the best business model for their business (Sole Proprietor or Ltd, LLP)

  Office/workshop set up Participants will determine where to set up office and what equipment is required.
  Creating the Corporate Identity Provide students with an understanding of conveying a professional image and the different items that makes up the stationary suite

 

Create a cost effective stationary suite

Students are shown ways to design & print their own stationary cost effectively.

 

Design the company Business Stationary Suite (corporate colors & logos, biz cards, letterhead, envelopes, etc)

Students will look at their individual business model and determine what items are needed to convey a professional image to the marketplace.

 

Writing the Business Plan & Financials

 

 

Creating a mini business plan to include financials.

Participants get a clear picture of what is required to create and run their business
