Course Description

Apparel Design with CAD lesson is mainly teaching learners to use the Adobe Illustrator (A.I) software to render fashion design sketches for design and technical presentation. Also included in the lesson is the use of Adobe Illustrator with Adobe Photoshop to render graphics for Artwork presentation. Currently Adobe Illustrator is the key design tool used in the apparel industry by designers worldwide and also as the common software used by apparel manufacturers, print & embroidery mills and graphic production companies. Thus learners who completed this course will benefit as his/her skills will be very relevant to the needs of today’s design industry.
Most students who graduate from design institutions nowadays are more than competent with at least some basic CAD skills, many of the designers who have been working in the industry for sometime may not be equipped with CAD skills.
