Competence and Beyond- USD300- Order Form

This is a manual that has recently been published in Sri-Lanka titled 'Competence And Beyond' which is the result of an initiative spearheaded by the 'Human Resource Development and Technology Advancement sub committee' of the Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF).


This manual was compiled over a period of 2 years by a team of members from the industry and academia with the ultimate goal being to develop and facilitate the standardization of skills and knowledge across the value chain of the Apparel and Textile Industry of Sri Lanka. It consists of a comprehensive analysis of 136 functional job roles relating to both the apparel and textile sector with specific details such as: The key tasks, performance measures, Ideal and basic qualifications, functional competencies and key knowledge areas to name a few. It also provides a great insight into the evolution of the Apparel and Textile industry of Sri Lanka and its future direction.
