Recognition & Accreditation
Since 2009, more than 5000 students has enrolled into TaF.tc and received extensive training in our Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) advanced/diploma certificates and modules. We’ve also issued more than 8,000 WSQ Statements of Attainment.
In addition, we’ve received regional recognition for providing industry training and consultancy in countries including Cambodia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, China, Laos, Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
Our in-depth knowledge of pre-production processes within the fashion industry enables factories to move up the supply chain through capacity development in Merchandising, Design and Product Development. Working in close collaboration with industry associations in other countries, we help identify competencies and performance gaps, and provide capacity development through our robust training programmes.
In 2014, TaF.tc became the first academic institution from Asia to join the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC). SAC comprises of more than 100 international brands, retailers, manufacturers, academic institutions, non-profit organisations and government bodies who have collectively committed to improving social and environmental performance throughout the apparel supply chain.
The Sustainable Apparel Coalition, representing more than one-third of the global apparel and footwear industries, was formed by sustainability leaders and leading environmental and social organizations to address current social and environmental challenges. TaF.tc has pledged to support the industry in adopting the Higg Index, a tool developed by SAC for measuring the environmental and social performance of apparel products. Being part of the Coalition will widen the scope of impact within the apparel industry and TaF.tc looks forward to accelerate change towards responsible industry actions.
